Small strokes.
Lovely journeys.

Click the water to send a current toward it.
Your pearl coasts after each stroke.
Gather dewdrops, then slow down at the flower.

NOTES FROM THE MICROGARDEN

Little hairs.
Remarkable currents.

Cilia can coordinate their beats to transport particles. Recent research describes particles “surfing” between cilia through inertial coasting. Pufflet turns that idea into a quiet game of strokes and momentum.

This is an original arcade game with simple impulses, exponential drag and circle collisions. It does not implement the research model, hydrodynamic coupling or metachronal wave equations.

Original game code: MIT. Cilia, pearl, flower and thorn artwork generated with a GPT image model, optimized locally as WebP. Keyboard, pointer and touch supported. Progress stays on this device when storage is available.

Gold: no thorn bumps and within the pool’s stroke target. Silver: fewer than three bumps. Bronze: any gentle landing. Restart begins a fresh attempt; your journal keeps your best ribbon.
